Pickstock Telford have a great opportunity for a Night Industrial Hygiene Operative to join our night shift cleaning team. This role is an integral role in our business as is the cleaning of all areas within the factory to ensure production can run the next working day.
Please Note: Pickstock Telford is an Abattoir and day hygiene operative are required to go into production to carry out the duties on daily basis.
Job roles include but are not limited to:
- Following standard operating procedures for completion of hygiene tasks
- Clean down of machinery in production areas to the correct standards
- Meet requirements for needs of the business to deliver food safety standards.
- Completion of line wash downs in a timely and consistent manner
- Maintain a clean as you go area and demonstrate good manufacturing practice (GMP)
- Work on different lines and areas where required
- Knowledge of chemicals and machinery which is used in the clean down process
Skills required:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
- Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
- Good physical fitness due to the demands of the job
- Good time management
- Able to prioritise
- Reliable and flexible

Shift Requirements:
Monday - Friday, 5.00pm-3.00am with additional weekend work when required.
