  • Construction of mechanical equipment.
  • Installation of equipment at our customers' locations worldwide.
  • Reading engineering drawings.
  • Fault-finding and rectification.
  • Leading small mechanical teams.
  • Provide guidance and instruction within a team of fitters.
  • Training and development of junior fitters.
  • To be actively involved in task management.
  • Navigation of company software to access part drawings and material requirements.
  • Completion of T&I and BQC sheets to confirm quality standards are met.
  • Ownership of the designated build area to maintain acceptable housekeeping.
  • Set standards and lead by example in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure full adherence to Health & Safety requirements.
  • Ensure completion of equipment daily check sheets and management of findings.
  • Support off-site work with the above.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Significant hands-on experience of mechanical equipment, assembly, and machine building.
  • Experience of using hand and power tools.
  • MEWP & FLT qualification advantageous, training can be provided.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects and solve problems.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of SAP business software desirable.
  • Demonstrated team management experience.
