Key Responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant:

  • Assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Processing invoices, expenses, and payments accurately and efficiently
  • Reconciling financial statements and bank accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Providing support during audits and liaising with auditors as necessary
  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth financial processes
  • Understanding and formulating procedures, technical processes and systems

Skills and Qualifications required of an Accounts Assistant:
