The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Finance Assistant to join our growing finance team. This hands-on role will provide you with the opportunity to support key financial operations and reporting processes, contributing to the company’s success and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including journal preparation for stock, WIP, accruals, prepayments, provisions, and deferred income
  • Support monthly billing runs, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency in importing data into the billing system
  • Contribute to ESG reporting, ensuring submission to Group on time
  • Prepare monthly analysis reports on departmental and credit card spending for non-financial stakeholders
  • Perform monthly balance sheet and key supplier invoice reconciliations
  • Support IFRS 3, 15, and 16 adjustments and monthly KPI reporting
  • Assist with audit preparation and provide data analysis as required
  • Focus on continuous improvement of finance functions, processes, and controls

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a highly driven, part-qualified accountant with a methodical approach and a keen eye for detail. About you:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle large volumes of data quickly and accurately
  • Experience in month-end reporting processes, ideally in a group or corporate setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A team player who collaborates well across departments
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PowerPoint skills desirable)
  • Previous experience in a group structure or corporate background is advantageous
