The Role:
We are currently looking for passionate and adaptable Cover Teachers to work in both primary and secondary schools across Telford. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about education and seeking a flexible working arrangement. As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Manage classroom behavior to ensure a focused and respectful learning environment.
- Follow the school's policies and procedures consistently.
- Adapt to teaching different subjects and year groups (primary and secondary) as needed.
- Provide constructive feedback to the regular teacher regarding student progress.
Requirements:
- Previous experience teaching in primary or secondary schools.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to work across different schools and subjects.
- A current DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
