The role of the Teacher of English…
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Teacher of English to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction, fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment, and helping students improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to helping students succeed.

Responsibilities for Teacher of English include…

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons that cater to students' needs and learning styles.
  • Teach students reading, writing, speaking, listening, and grammar skills.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans, instructional materials, and teaching resources.
  • Create a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere that promotes active learning.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the individual needs of students, including those with learning difficulties or advanced abilities.
  • Organize and supervise class activities, projects, and assignments.
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and other staff regarding students’ progress and performance.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
  • Ensure that students are prepared for exams, if applicable.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and grades.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and developments in English language teaching.

Requirements for Teacher of English…

  • Bachelor's degree in English Literature or English Language
  • QTS, QTLS or relevant teaching qualifications
  • Proven experience as an English teacher or in a similar teaching role.
  • Strong knowledge of English grammar, literature, and writing techniques.
