Your new schoolHays Education have partnered with a happy and caring school in the Telford area, with an OFSTED rating of 'Good'. This community-based school are looking for a part-time Level 2 Teaching Assistant (22.5 hours per week - with 4.5 hours per day). This inclusive school has over 200 pupils with ages ranging from 4 - 11 years old. The school are looking for an experienced TA due to an increased number of pupils.

Your new roleIn your new role as a Level 2 teaching assistant within the school, you will be supporting SEN pupils to help work towards the outcomes on their EHCP. This is a lovely all-inclusive primary school with pupils of a range of different abilities. You will need to be able to support the teacher to deliver activities and support pupils at times.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Build a positive relationship with pupils
  • Knowledge of Education and health care plans (EHCP)
  • Experience in a classroom setting within the last two years
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport
  • Have a flexible approach and a can do attitude
