We require a Sales Estimator/Administrator to a market leading UK designer and manufacturer of steel-based partition and ceiling systems to support the sales function, reporting to and assisting the Senior Sales Manager and wider team.
Ideally we are looking for a person that has a technical background with good communication skills and a vibrant and enthusiastic personality. The ability to read and understand construction drawings, and BoQs is important to the role, a proficient user of Microsoft Office is essential. AutoCAD and BIM knowledge would also be an advantage but is not paramount.
The Sales Estimator will be responsible for:
Managing sales enquiries through our internal document control systems.
Reporting monthly sales and enquiry figures.
Producing material take-offs and BoQ from enquiry drawings and information for quotation.
Producing and issuing detailed quotations to clients.
Issuing order acknowledgements to clients.
Collating and controlling order information to present to the Design & Production Teams.
Controlling order variations for ongoing projects.
Maintaining contact with clients through the sales and order cycle.
Working closely with our Design and Production teams. Client liaison and dealing with customer queries.
