Parts Advisor

A leading automotive dealership is seeking a skilled Parts Advisor. The role involves processing and upselling parts, building relationships and addressing technical questions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a customer-focused approach.
Duties:
  • Work within a busy aftersales department to handle customer parts requirements.
  • Process and upsell parts, offering additional solutions to customers.
  • Address technical requests using product identification aids.
  • Build trustworthy and professional relationships with customers.
  • Interact with customers visiting the premises.
  • Meet the internal parts needs of the workshop team.
  • Conduct market research and gather relevant industry information.
  • Liaise with key suppliers to ensure smooth operations.

Essential:
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong administrative abilities.
  • A positive attitude, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Knowledge of the motor vehicle or automotive trade is a plus.
  • Experience working towards performance targets.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • A full driving licence is essential.
