For the successful Systems Developer our client is offering;

  • Competitive salary of up to £48,000 per annum D.O.E
  • Monday- Thursday 08:30-17:00 and Fridays 08:30- 16:30
  • Permanent position

The Role of the Systems Developer;

  • Design, create and implement systems solutions to business needs
  • Analyse and re-design existing business processes to ensure efficiency
  • Work within a team to create and enhance technical and systems solutions
  • Integrating systems to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all systems.
  • Maintaining and supporting databases, systems, and platforms.
  • Continuous improvement to ensure that processes and systems are optimised.
  • Involvement with web development solutions
  • Developing, updating, and maintaining technical documentation
  • Other ad hoc duties, including specialised reporting.

What our client is looking for in a Systems Developer;

  • Proven work experience as a systems developer or similar role
  • Experience of end-to-end process improvements and design - ESSENTIAL
  • In-depth understanding of relational databases, including Microsoft SQL server
  • In-depth understanding of programming languages - ESSENTIAL
  • Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases
  • Knowledge of front and back-end web systems- ESSENTIAL
  • Ability to adapt to change and respond to emerging business requirements- ESSENTIAL
  • The ability to think logically, problem solve and work well both independently and in a team- ESSENTIAL
  • The ability to interact with stakeholders to establish what the problem is and manage expectations- ESSENTIAL
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment- DESIRABLE 
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science- DESIRABLE
