We are seeking a committed and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join this vibrant school. Key Responsibilities:* Personalised Support: Work closely with individual pupils and small groups to provide tailored support that meets their specific needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.* Inclusive Learning Environment: Assist in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment that promotes inclusion and encourages independence for all pupils.* Behavioural Support: Employ positive behaviour management strategies to support pupils in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and positive interactions with peers and staff.* Communication Assistance: Facilitate effective communication for pupils with SLCN through the use of visual aids, alternative communication methods, and other resources.* Daily Care: Provide personal care support as needed, ensuring that pupils' physical and emotional well-being is always prioritised.What We're Looking For:* Experience: Previous experience working with children with additional needs, particularly in a school or educational setting, is highly desirable.* Empathy & Patience: A warm, caring attitude and the ability to remain patient and calm under pressure are essential qualities for this role.* Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of pupils and the school environment, with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.* Team Player: A collaborative approach, with a willingness to learn and share ideas with the wider school team.If you are passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive in their education and are looking for a role where you can truly make a difference, we would love to hear from you!Join us in creating a brighter future for our pupils-one where every child is given the opportunity to succeed.Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
