Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have a heart for helping every child reach their full potential? Dunbar Education is looking for a dedicated KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools on a full-time basis, starting immediately after October half term.

Role Overview:

  • Position: KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Start Date: January 2025
  • Contract Type: Full-Time
  • Location: Telford
  • Working Hours: 8:30-3:30

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to KS2 pupils with SEN
  • Assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities, in collaboration with the class teacher
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
  • Help with classroom management and behavioural support
  • Work closely with SENCO and other professionals to ensure the best care and education for each child

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (preferred)
  • A patient, compassionate, and understanding approach
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm and a commitment to supporting children's learning
  • Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
