This specialist through school provides outstanding support to students with Autism and Learning Difficulties.The school caters for students with a range of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD and Learning Difficulties. The school fosters an inclusive and supportive atmosphere, ensuring that each child reaches their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.Key Responsibilities:* Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN), specifically Autism and Learning Difficulties.* Assist in implementing tailored learning and support for the needs of the induvial. * Work closely with the teaching team to create a safe and positive learning environment.* Support students in both 1:1 and small group settings.* Build positive relationships with students, encouraging progress and development in all areas.What We're Looking For:* Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEN, particularly Autism and Learning Difficulties.* Patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of the challenges faced by children with SEN.* A flexible and proactive approach to your role, adapting to the individual needs of students.* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both students and staff.* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.Qualifications:* Relevant experience or qualifications in SEN support are highly desirable.* Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.If you're passionate about working with SEN students and feel you could be the right person for the job we would love to hear from you!
