Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant, with recent experience working with SEN children across KS1?

Flourish Education is looking for a level 2 or 3 TA to assist 1:1 with a year 2 child at a one-form entry school in the Madeley area of Telford, full-time working Monday – Friday. This community school has a recent ‘good' report rating from Ofsted and is very focused on attitude being the biggest drive towards their success.

This job role requires previous experience working with Autistic children, an understanding of EHCPs, the importance of communication with families, and working toward developmental goals. The role is to begin immediately after the October half term, with potential to extend into the new year.

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role

  • Hold a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Previous SEN experience
  • Good curriculum knowledge of Key Stage 1
  • Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA
  • A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
  • A minimum of 2 excellent references
