For the successful Engineering Supervisor our client is offering:

  • Competitive annual salary paying up to £60,000 - Depending on experience
  • Days based role - 8:45am-5pm Monday to Friday

The Role - Engineering Supervisor:

  • Writing technical plans, procedures and training modules
  • Commissioning of systems & equipment
  • Providing technical support to the customer
  • Rectifying faults
  • Overseeing a team of 8 staff, ensuring they're completing work to correct standards
  • Amending of PLC programmes
  • Carrying out PLC programming activities where necessary & development of programmes
  • Customer liaison
  • Carrying out site visits
  • Carrying out the Handover with the customer at the end of the commission
  • Ensuring processes are being followed
  • Responsible for recruitment within your assigned area
  • Development of PLC software / Robot programmes
  • Onsite investigations and rectification
  • Providing training to the team
  • Attending reviews / meetings with customers
  • Planning of installations
  • Reviewing the Technicians customer visits and providing feedback internally

What our client is looking for in a Engineering Supervisor:

  • Ability to travel Worldwide when required - This could be 5-6 times a year, usually for 2 weeks at a time
  • Strong PLC knowledge (Ideally Siemens)
  • Strong management skills
  • PLC Programming / Fault finding experience
  • Fault finding skills
  • Experience in managing a team of Engineers / Technicians - Essential
  • Strong Knowledge of Robots & PLC's
  • Ability to read and understand Electrical/Mechanical drawings
  • Experience within Automation / Control Systems / Mechatronics
  • Full UK Licence & Passport - Essential
