We are currently recruiting for MIG Welders to join our client's team on their day shift. This work is within a cutting edge facility working with a growing sheet metal and fabrication company in Telford.
Weld tests available immediately!
MIG Welder key job details:
- Monday to Thurs: 07:30 to 16:15, and Fridays: 07:30 to 13:30.
- Pay rates: 14.00ph (basic)
- Overtime rates: Weekdays: 18.20ph, Saturdays: 21ph, Sundays: 28.00ph
- Monthly time keeping and attendance bonuses also available
- Temp to perm
- Weekly pay
MIG Welder key responsibilities:
- MIG welding on mild steel ranging from 1mm to 10mm thickness
- Working from engineering drawings and SOPs
- Some jig work will be a part of the role
- Use of various hand and air tools
- Complying with health and safety at all times
MIG Welder person specification:
- Previous MIG welding experience is essential (a weld test will be undertaken prior to any employment offer)
- Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings
- Basic level of English
- Flexible nature due to varied product ranges that you will be working on
- TIG welding experience would be advantageous but isnot essential
