Orion Electrotech are working with an innovative company who specialises in the design, fabrication, and installation of high-quality systems for a range of industries.
The Tig Welder Role:
As a TIG Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling and welding light gauge stainless steel and aluminium systems. You will be required to read technical drawings, fabricate parts, and install completed systems at customer sites. A background in mechanical work and sheet metal fabrication would be ideal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and other materials.
- Travel to customer sites to carry out installations and modifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards
- Work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid TIG welding and fabrication skills, ideally in stainless steel
- Previous on-site installation experience preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and assemble components accurately
- Strong mechanical background with sheet metal working experience
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for installations
- A proactive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
