Excellent opportunity for either an experienced technical author or degree educated individual with a qualification in technical writing to join an industry leading machinery manufacturer in Telford.
The company are very well established and are a leading manufacturer of specialist precision engineering equipment which they supply globally to customers across food and beverage, automotive, aerospace and much more.
This is a newly created role, to support the excellent growth period within the business.
In this role you will be working within the engineering department to develop and maintain technical documentation, you will write, edit and review the documentation as well as conducting research, liaising with engineering through NPD and production phases and interpret engineering drawings to produce manuals from scratch as well as amending existing documentation.

This role would suit someone with technical writing experience or a technical writing qualification, looking for a challenging and varied technical role.

The Role:
*Technical Author
*Develop and maintain technical documentation
*Write product descriptions and technical manuals
The Candidate:
* Technical Writing experience within engineering
* Familiarity with engineering Standards (ISO, CE)
* Experience with mechanical or mechatronic systems
