Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Officer:
- Work closely with the workforce to encourage active participation in health and safety initiatives.
- Lead the investigation of incidents, compile reports, and implement safety improvements.
- Conduct and review risk assessments, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001 and other HSE standards.
- Ensure all operations meet regulatory safety standards and company policies.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal Health and Safety Officer candidate will have:
- Gained experience within health and safety.
- Proactive, results-driven, and passionate about driving safety culture.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both shopfloor staff and senior management.
- NEBOSH certificate or equivalent qualification is preferred but not essential.
