The role of the Production Operative will primarily involve operating manual and CNC-based machinery to produce high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. As part of the team, you will play a vital role in delivering products to customers all over the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating manual and CNC-based machinery to produce products according to specifications
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings to ensure accuracy in production
- Operating a forklift truck (FLT) for loading and unloading materials
- Banding, palletising, and bagging goods for shipment
- Preparing products for loading onto delivery trucks
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Reporting any machine faults or issues to the production supervisor
