MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- To deliver and collect bailed recycled material around the Somerset, Devon and Wiltshire area
- To ensure that all processes / collections are carried out in accordance with Health & Safety procedures and the Drivers Handbook.
- To ensure that all tachograph regulations are adhered with.
- All Road Traffic Regulations are adhered with.
- To ensure the vehicle is in good working order, vehicle defects are recorded correctly and subsequent procedures are carried out appropriately. Vehicle cleanliness is upheld daily / weekly.
- Ensure loads are secured in a safe manner
- To hold the appropriate driving licence, undergo any required training and maintain a driver's Certificate of Professional Competence.
- A FLT Licence would be desirable but not essential
- Candidates must possess a reasonable level of fitness
- Any other duties commensurate with a Recycled Waste Operative
