Are you an experienced sales professional with a talent for business development and customer satisfaction?

Are you looking to advance your career and drive the growth of a £100 million turnover company, operating across the UK?

On offer is the opportunity to join an industry-leading builders merchants, supplying a comprehensive range of materials to the construction and engineering industries for the past 9 decades. After acquiring 20 additional merchant brands, this company is looking to continue expanding their materials range and customer base.

In this role you will become a fundamental asset to the company. You will be actively managing the sales performance of branch customers, identifying new opportunities and areas of business to target, and actively selling to customers.

The Role:

  • Active sales, managing customer accounts and working towards targets
  • Identify new opportunities from these customers through selling of the product families within the business
  • Performing site visits
  • Actively selling branch offerings, company offers and promotions
  • Build rapport with customers and develop relationships with suppliers in order to negotiate competitive buying and profitable selling prices

The Person:

  • Proven track record of sales experience
