A tremendously exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious client manager to join this growing and well-respected, rural, Mid-Kent firm of chartered accountants.
Our client, a supportive mid-tier general practice firm, is looking for a Manager for their Mid-Kent based office. You will have your own portfolio of general practice sector clients and the chance to grow this portfolio almost immediately.
With a focus on OMBs, the workload would be a mix of audit, accounts and tax, as well as exposure to ad-hoc advisory projects.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Reviewing WIP on completion of the job and alerting partner to issues on any overruns.
- Taking full responsibility for the whole client audit, considering planning, fieldwork, and finalisation of the audit.
- Final review of corporation tax returns and associated schedules ensuring they are accurate.
- Final review of Accounts preparation
- Involvement in Business Development and Networking Events
What about you?
- Be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Have excellent technical knowledge in all areas of accounting, tax and audit.
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients, including WIP & billing
- Demonstrable experience with positive staff management and mentorship
