Retail Supervisor

£11.66 per hour
Hours - 20 hrs per week
Temporary - Permanent
Our client, a leading charitable organisation, is currently looking for a Retail Supervisor to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis covering Tenterden.
The successful applicant will ideally have previous retail supervisory experience and be used to dealing with quality merchandise as the core stock item. A positive flexible attitude is required.
As the Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising and training volunteers
- Supporting the Retail Shop Manager in the daily running of the branch
- Aiding in completing store admin
- Supporting the implementing of H&S policy and protocols
- Help to drive the meeting and exceeding financial targets
- Managing the incoming stock from distribution
- Leading by example and delivering top customer service
- Merchandise and price stock
Person Specification for the role of Retail Supervisor:
- Good analytical and excellent organisational skills essential
- Previous management/supervisory experience in retail is highly desirable
- Proven ability to meet and exceed KPIs would be advantageous
- Ability to nurture and lead a team essential part of the role
- Strong communication skills both face-to-face and via phone/email essential
- Being numerate and comfortable with IT would be a keystone to the role
