We are inviting applications for the position of Named Pupil Teaching Assistant at our community-centered secondary school located in the picturesque Cotswolds. This newly established role offers part-time employment, comprising 25 hours per week across five days. The working hours will be from 9:15 AM to 3:25 PM, with specific days and times available for negotiation. It is essential to note that this position is directly associated with a designated student and will conclude either when the student departs or if the funding is discontinued.

The objective of this role is to deliver comprehensive support to a designated student with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs during lessons. Additionally, the position entails fostering an environment that encourages high standards of behaviour both within the classroom and during non-instructional periods.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in a comparable role and setting. They should exhibit a proven ability to function autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team. Exceptional communication skills are essential, enabling them to engage positively with both children and adults through verbal and non-verbal interactions. Furthermore, candidates are expected to demonstrate a proactive attitude and a steadfast commitment to enhancing the happiness, well-being, self-esteem, and academic progress of the designated student.
