ESS - Machine Operator & Forklift Driver

LOCATION: Tetbury

HOURS: Monday - Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break)

Potential for Saturday over time during spring months to meet business needs - 7.30am to 2.00pm

START DATE: immediate

PAY: £31,000pa (salary listed is not including any overtime)

Job: Machine and Forklift Operator

We are seeking a Machine and Forklift Operator, to join our client who is a well-established and leading supplier of a wide range of pre-packed composts and other specialist products to the Garden Centre, Builders’ Merchants and Professional Grower market sectors. Our client is looking for a candidate who can offer flexibility due to working within a small team. The successful applicant will work on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and off-loading mainly 'curtain sided vehicles’ with pre-packed palletised products.
• Bagging of product
• Programming, Setting and Operating bagging machines for the correct weight of product
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy
• Other Factory and yard duties might be required subject to experience.
• We provide modern, well-maintained equipment.
• Full training would be provided, if required.
• Full driving licence required

Requirements:

• We require an enthusiastic, self-motivated hard-working employee, who is fully committed to the job and can work as in integrated team member.
• Counterbalance forklift licence
• Flexible team player
