Abatec is assisting their client, a highly regarded Groundworks contractor with the recruitment of a Freelance Project Manager (PM).
The PM will be responsible for the groundworks package on a project valued between 5-10 million. The successful candidate will have a background in civil engineering and experience working on groundworks, roads, and drainage.
As a Project Manager you will:
- Report to a visiting Contracts Manager, giving updates on programme, budgetary and design issues, etc.
- Ensure that industry health & safety legislation and standards are upheld.
- Liaise regularly with the client on any concerns at regular project meetings.
- Prepare, check, and implement designs on-site in accordance with the relevant drawings and specifications.
Our client requires a Project Manager with:
- HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
- CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid.
- A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience on groundworks projects.
Salary and benefits include:
- 350 - 400 per day LTD
