  • The role involves virtual meetings with clients and serving as the technical lead from the Cambridge office, with initial on-site training required.

  • The salary for this position is competitive, complemented by an annual bonus, above-market pension plan, private medical healthcare, and additional benefits.
Off the back of a brilliant year where we hired multiple engineers for this Cambridge based telecomms business, we're now helping them hire a Senior Systems Engineer to work between engineering and sales to support the growth of their products into the data centre and hyperscale space.

They need someone familiar with selling telecommunication systems to blue chip clientswith a strong electrical engineering background (this will help you understand their complex product and save months bringing you up to speed).

Ultimately, this new role in the Applications Engineering team will see you meet (mostly virtually) with blue chip clients who need to use data centres as well as being the technical lead/point of contact for them from their Cambridge based office.

Initially they need you on site at their officeto understand how the team works, the engineering involved and for the business to train you on their products. After the first few months you'll have much more autonomy with regards to remote working but I wanted to make this clear from the get go to anyone interested.

Benefits wise you can expect an annual bonus, above market rate pension plan, private medical healthcare and more on top of your base salary.

Please apply if you have experience working in telecomms with data centre clients and strong electrical engineering knowledge.
