Due to continued growth, our well-established client based in Tewkesbury is recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the Finance Director in supporting key development requirements within the business.

The successful candidate will have previous finance experience, be happy working within a fast-paced environment and be willing to take on basic IT support duties internally whilst the department goes through a period of change.


Key Responsibilities:

-Process purchase invoices

-Liaise with the contracts team to ensure timely invoice approval

-Raise purchase orders

-Process month end payment runs

-Enter payments on to accounting software

-Month end processes i.e. reconciling supplier accounts

-General accounts administration

-Assist with customer and supplier enquiries as required

-Take internal calls related to IT support and liaise with external IT support where appropriate


Candidate Attributes;

-Previous finance experience

-Excellent attention to detail

-Good verbal and written communication skills

-Must be able to multitask and be pro-active

-Excellent organisational skills


Hours: 8am 5pm, Monday to Friday (1hour lunch)


Salary: Up to £29,000 + 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays + Life Insurance + Cycle to work scheme + potential to earn 5% annual bonus!
