Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Tewkesbury

We are currently searching for an experienced Quality Engineer for a client that specialises in the manufacture of aerospace components. This role is to support production processes and provide process support to all manufacturing, assembly and logistics areas of the business.

You will be responsible for processing all non-conformances using appropriate software packages such as TIPQA and be able to develop robust corrective actions related to non-conformances in the manufacturing departments and develop process improvements that support production departments.

Key Responsibilities – Quality Engineer

  • Processing, progressing and facilitating manufacturing and assembly non-conformances.
  • Supporting manufacturing and assembly process improvements.
  • Complete non-conformance reports and write up predispositions in relevant software packages.
  • Contributing to manufacturing and assembly process development through PFMEA, control plans and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Facilitating and supporting measurement system analysis studies
  • Supporting process capability studies

Key skills and experience – Quality Engineer

  • Quality background is essential
  • Experience in manufacturing and assembly environment
  • Experience in RCCA methodologies
  • Aerospace experience is an advantage.
