Join a prominent dairy distributor as a Machine Operator. In this role, you will be a key member of our production team, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and food safety. This position is ideal for both experienced candidates and those eager to advance their career in food production.
Day-to-day of the role:- Set up, clean down, and operate filling machinery.
- Maintain quality and food safety standards in all processes.
- Pack finished products, preparing them for distribution.
- Follow company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Report any issues promptly to supervisory staff.
- Work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members as needed.
- Strong attention to detail for accuracy and precision.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Positive attitude with high commitment and motivation levels.
- Ability to work flexibly under varying shift patterns.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
- Capable of managing fast-paced production lines.
- Ability to achieve Level 2 Food Safety certification.
- Previous experience in a dairy or food production setting is desirable.
- Familiarity with food production, hygiene, and safety procedures is advantageous.
- 22 days' holiday plus bank holidays, with an additional day after 3 years of service.
