Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Tewksbury for a leading mail delivery company.
The position offers pay rates of up to £23.00 per hour and requires a minimum of 12 months experience driving a Class 1 vehicle.
Candidates must hold a Class 1 Driving Licence, an up-to-date Tacho Digi Card, and a DCPC Card, with a tolerance for up to 6 points on their licence.
Both day and night shifts are available, with approximate 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday.

They provide courier, package delivery and express mail services around the globe. Before you apply for this role, you must be able to answer YES to all the questions below:

Do you have your Class 1 Driving Licence?
Do you have at least 12 months experience driving a Class 1 vehicle?
Do you have an up-to-date Tacho Digi Card and an up-to-date DCPC Card?

We will accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.HGV Class 1 Driver - Role & Responsibilities: As we have mentioned above, our client is one of the world's leading mail delivery companies. This means that as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:

Driving a fully branded HGV vehicle
Trunking from depot to depot
Required to keep up to date with the required pre & post-shift vehicle checks
Expected to maintain your Driver hours in accordance with Working Time Regulations

HGV Class 1 Driver - Working Hours:

Both Day & Night Shifts are available
- 0700 or 0900 starts
Monday to Friday working
- Aprox 10 hour shifts
