Job Title: CNC Cell Leader
Location: Tewkesbury
Pay Range/details: £40,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Omega are working with a key provider of precision components and engineering solutions to the aerospace and defence, oil and gas, nuclear and commercial bronze sectors in their search for a CNC Cell Leader.
The right Cell Leader will have a proven track record and experience using CNC Mill/Turn (Mazak Integrex) multi axis machinery. You will be capable of setting and running a variety of multi axis tools and experienced in managing and leading a team of CNC machinists in a complex precision product environment.
Key Responsibilities – CNC Cell Leader
- Setting, operating and programming a variety of CNC mill/turn machining centres to produce fixtures and fittings, preferably in a highly compliant environment working to tight tolerances.
- Speeds and feeds for different raw materials; controls; programming; safety and in-depth tooling knowledge.
- FANUC / Mazatrol control language and Mastercam programming.
- Lean Manufacturing and CI strategies.
- CMM inspection and manual measuring capabilities.
- Monday to Friday - 06:00 – 14:00
Qualifications & Requirements – CNC Cell Leader
- Engineering qualification from City and Guilds / HNC or similar.
- Experience leading a team.
- Worked within strict production time frames and tight tolerances.
