The CNC Cell Leader will work as part of a wider engineering led team to produce quality precision engineered components to details specifications.

Responsibilities for the CNC Cell Lead

  • Manage the running of multi axis tools
  • Successfully lead a team of CNC machinists
  • Identify and implement training requirements
  • Lead and assess team performance
Essential skills, knowledge and experience required for the CNC Cell Lead
  • Setting, operating and programming a variety of CNC mill/turn machining centres to produce fixtures and fittings
  • Speeds and feeds for different raw materials;controls;programming;in depth tool knowledge
  • FANUC/Mazatrol control language
  • Mastercam programming
  • Lean manufacturing and CI strategies
  • CMM inspection and manual measuring capabilities
