CNC Multi Axis Miller Programmer
Location: Tewkesbury, GloucestershireSalary: £33,000 - £38,000 plus 25% Shift Allowance
ROLE DESCRIPTIONThe CNC Multi Axis Miller Programmer will work as part of a team to produce quality precision-engineered components to detailed specifications within strict production timeframes and tight tolerances.
IDEAL CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE IN:
- Setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines, including 3, 4, and 5 Axis
- Engineering qualification from City and Guilds / HNC or similar
- Speeds and feeds for different raw materials; controls; programming; safety and tooling
- FANUC / Mazatrol control language (preferable)
- Lean Manufacturing
- CMM inspection and measuring (advantageous)
KEY ABILITIES:
- Programming, ideally using HyperMill
- Operating CNC milling machinery, fixtures, and fittings, preferably in a highly compliant environment working to tight tolerances
- Using manual measuring equipment and competently reading manufacturing drawings
- Operating Mazak 5 Axis milling machinery (advantageous)
This role suits someone who enjoys working with complex precision components made from difficult-to-manufacture materials.
WORKING HOURS:
- Fixed shift patterns
- 38 hours per week
- 4 Days per Week (Monday to Thursday)
- 14:00 – 00:00
