Our client is a trusted precision components and engineering business working across various sectors from Aerospace and defence, oil and gas to automation. Looking for a competent engineer with a proven background using CNC Mill/Turn multi axis machinery.

The CNC Miller / Programmer will have the ability to set, operate & program 3, 4 & 5 axis machinery and strengthen NPI capabilities for the business.

Responsibilities for the successful CNC Miller (Programmer)

  • Produce quality precision engineered components to details specifications
  • Ability to work within strict production timeframes and tight tolerances
  • Set, operate and programme CNC milling machines to 3, 4 and 5 axis
  • Use manual measuring equipment and competently read manufacturing drawings

Essential skills, knowledge and experience required for the successful CNC Miller (Programmer)

  • Setting, operating and programming a variety of CNC mill/turn machining centres to produce fixtures and fittings
  • Lean manufacturing
  • CMM inspection and measuring would be an advantage
  • Engineering qualifications
  • Ability to use MasterCam
