Candidates are required to have an engineering qualification from City and Guilds, HNC, or a similar qualification.
Experience with programming CNC milling machines, particularly using HyperMill and operating Mazak 5 Axis machinery, is preferred.
Knowledge of FANUC or Mazatrol control language, along with skills in CMM inspection and Lean Manufacturing, would be advantageous.

The Job

Setting, operating and programming CNC milling machines to include 3, 4 and 5 Axis
Engineering qualification from City and Guilds / HNC or similar
Speeds and feeds for different raw materials; controls; programming; safety and tooling
FANUC / Mazatrol control language would be preferable
Lean Manufacturing
CMM inspection and measuring would be an advantage

Requirements

Programme - ideally using HyperMill
Operate CNC milling machinery, fixtures and fittings, preferably in a highly compliant environment working to tight tolerances
Use manual measuring equipment and competently read manufacturing drawings
Operate Mazak 5 Axis milling machinery would be an advantage
