Job Advertisement: CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator
Location: Tewkesbury
Salary: 18.00 - 21.50 per hour
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading aerospace company, producing high-precision components in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:

  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC Mills with FANUC (or Siemens) operating control systems to produce prismatic components to customer drawings and specifications.
  • Producing offline and online CNC programs using CAD/CAM software. Familiarity with Edgecam and Solidworks is an advantage but not essential.
  • Inspecting your own work to ensure it meets drawing and SPC requirements.
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in your work area in line with 5C/5S principles.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Completion of a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
  • Proven experience and high standards in CNC milling programming, setting, and operating.
  • A working knowledge of fourth and fifth axis machines is beneficial.
  • Solid experience with FANUC controls, particularly in the aerospace industry.
