Our client based in Tewkesbury is currently recruiting for a CAD Designer to join their team on a permanent basis.


Working within the construction sector, our client has over 15 years experience and deal with companies all over the UK. The successful candidate will responsible for producing fire wall, cladding and cold store estimating and construction plan drawings and details and produce material schedules from CAD plans.


Responsibilities/Duties;

-Produce material lists and order ancillary materials for specific jobs within agreed timescales

-Produce CAD plans and details for all construction projects

-Produce CAD plans for estimating and client presentation

-Maintain a CAD library

-Ensure CAD revisions are up to date and issued to all relevant parties

-Modify and update CAD drawings as required

-Liaise with construction site manager and client project manager to establish scope of works

-Problem solve any unforeseen issues with the design

-Advise the project team of any restricted build issues identified from CAD drawing production

-Install materials to complete build projects to the standard and specification require


Candidate Attributes;

-Competent IT skills in Auto CAD, Word, Excel and Outlook

-Attention to detail

-Good verbal and written communication skills

-Good understanding of plan drawing

-Must be able to multi task and be pro-active

-Excellent organisational skills


Hours- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week


Salary- Up to £35,000 depending on experience + 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays + Life Insurance + Cycle to work scheme + potential to earn 5% annual bonus!
