Finance Analyst | Tewkesbury | Permanent

The Company

Role

Working closely with the Financial Controller / Senior Management Team. Ensuring the accuracy of MI production and analysis of key trends to flag risk and opportunity. Provide analysis of performance data across the group and at depot level. Responsible for ensuring pricing and product creation is correct on MI systems. Creation of process maps and audit of the same to ensure consistency across the business.

Key responsibilities

Ownership of the Business Information (BI) software of the business, currently Access Analytics, to include:

  • All management reports;
  • Company/depot/departmental kpi reporting;
  • Create and maintain reports to analyse financial performance ensuring the information is accurate, timely and complete;
  • Working alongside the management accountant to provide monthly depot sales and profitability analysis;
  • Cost/efficiency review and reporting;
  • Trend analysis;
  • Customer and product analysis and profitability, investigation and reporting.
  • Verify prices, products and customer category set up on Roundsman.
  • Assist in new Business software project groups.
  • To help develop internal audit review process alongside the Financial Controller.
  • Cost Project - Assistant to the FC - investigate/record process flow / build cost model.
  • Updating cost model and reporting cost changes.
  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA Newly Qualified or finalist or Equivalent also QBE
  • Attention to detail with a methodical approach.
  • Exceptional proven financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrable commercial finance skills, ideally in a FRA role.
  • Strong multitasking, and self-prioritising skills.
  • Good time management/meets deadlines.
  • Manufacturing experience would be an advantage
  • BI reporting skills/experience - SQL, SAP, ACCESS
  • High level excel skills - visual basics/macros etc.
