M4 Recruitment are looking for temp to perm Counterbalance Forklift Drivers as well as Warehouse Pickers for our client based in Tewkesbury. Company deals with dairy production and requires reliable candidates to work on the early and late day shift pattern:
Early - 07:00 until 16:30 Monday till Friday + Saturday (07:00 until 16:00)
Late 09:00 until 18:30 Monday till Friday + Saturday (07:00 until 16:00)
1 day off work is set (Sunday) and another rotates, e.g. first week Saturday and Sunday off, second week Sunday and Monday off, third week Sunday and Tuesday off, etc. 1 hour of unpaid break that can be divided into 30 mins (mandatory) + 2x 15 mins breaks.
Work consists of both warehouse and yard and is in chilled environment (2 to 6 degrees Celsius) due to nature of dairy products. Must have a valid Counterbalance certificate in date as no refreshers are offered for new employees. Due to nature of work, forklift drivers will be required to also perform other duties as part of the job.
Due to location of site, only candidates with their own transport will be considered as public transport will not guarantee arriving on time. Written and verbal induction is given on the first day, so a decent level of English is necessary for applicants to be able to perform duties.
Immediate starts available following successful induction, work is paid weekly with rates as below:
FLT drivers:
£12.60 basic
£15.75 overtime any hours over 40 a week
Warehouse Pickers:
£12.14 basic
£15.18 overtime any hours over 40 a week
