Key Responsibilities:
- Set, operate, and program CNC machining centres, creating fixtures and fittings to tight tolerances in a highly compliant environment.
- Apply your knowledge of material speeds, feeds, controls, and tooling to optimize production.
- Use FANUC and Mazatrol control languages and HyperMill for advanced programming needs.
- Lead, train, and assess team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in CNC mill/turn operations, particularly with multi-axis machines.
- Expertise in precision engineering for complex components and challenging materials.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement strategies.
- Knowledge of CMM inspection and manual measuring techniques.
- Engineering qualification from City & Guilds, HNC, or similar is preferred.
