Teaching Assistant

Are you a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant looking for a new role? Flourish Education is currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work within a two-form entry village primary school in Tewkesbury, to join their team on a full-time basis. The school has recently been rated ‘good’ by OFSTED, with the report stating that; ‘Pupils feel safe and secure in the school's welcoming and caring environment. As a result, they gain good self-confidence, learn to care for others and behave extremely well’.

You will be supporting a Year 2 class. Responsibilities will include in-class support, group work and interventions. A willingness to learn and a desire to be part of an effective team is essential. The school are looking for candidates who are willing to commit to a long-term position to ensure consistency for the children.  The role is to start straight away and to continue provisionally until the end of the academic year.

This is a long-term position in a thriving little school. We are looking for a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant for an immediate start and to continue until the end of the academic year. This role has the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Required Skills and Experience for this SEN Teaching Assistant role:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience in a UK Primary School
• Committed to long term role
• Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
