Working in a modern facility, 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am - 1.00pm on a Friday.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for recieving deliveries, booking in tools and consumables onto an in-house system, and ensuring accurate inventory management. Strong customer service skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Duties:
Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring all items match delivery notes.
Book tools and consumables into an in-house inventory system, maintaining accurate records.
Match product codes from delivery notes to items received, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Assist engineers in booking out stock, ensuring that all transactions are recorded properly.
Produce and maintain necessary certificates for equipment and tools as required.
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and stored in accordance with company policies
Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams and engineers regarding stock availability and inquiries.
Address any issues or discrepancies related to deliveries or inventory promptly and professionally.
Keep the stores area organised and clean, ensuring safety and accessibility of stock.
Assist in regular stock audits.
Experience:
Previous experience in a stores or inventory role preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Excellent customer service and communication skills..
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
Ability to lift and move items as needed.
