Job Title: Quality Manager

Location: Reading, UK

Reports to: General Manager

Contract Type: Permanent

We are a leading company in quality and customer satisfaction, seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to oversee our Quality team and handle all Quality-related matters.

Lead and manage the Quality team at our Reading site. Act as the primary point of contact for Quality to the General Manager and leadership team, ensuring adherence to EN9100 and ISO9001 standards while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:** Manage and develop the Quality team, ensuring effective processes and adherence to standards.
  • Process Improvement:Oversee quality processes, drive improvements using Lean Management System (LMS), and ensure risk is mitigated.
  • Customer & Supplier Relations: Serve as the primary Quality interface for customers and suppliers, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Strategic Contribution:Participate in the Reading sector leadership team, contribute to strategic planning, and manage quality metrics and KPIs.
  • Audits & Compliance: Conduct internal and supplier audits, address non-conformance, and ensure effective risk management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business.
  • Proven track record in quality management and process improvement. Relevant industry experience is desirable.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Knowledge of EN9100 and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leader with excellent problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage complex issues and drive process improvements.
  • Requires occasional travel and physical activity in line with health and safety policies.
