The products we make go on to truly make a big difference in this world and we're very proud to be part of this.We’re now in a position to take on a new Quality Inspector to join our small quality team, to inspect CNC machined components (milling, turning and grinding).+ modern, clean, tidy, well organised and well-equipped shop floor+ A full suite of metrology equipment from micrometers and gauges to programmable CMM+ Easy access to all the tooling and equipment you need to do your best work+ Encouraging technical assistance always available+ Manufacturing original equipment, not on a sub-contract basis+ Checking the quality of CNC machined components which will eventually end up in many applications from chemical research, and medical science to aerospace, motorsport and more!+ Long term job security, working for a company creating products for a wide range of specialist industriesWhat experience will you need?You’ll be an experienced Quality Inspector, comfortable completing first offs and in-process inspections, carrying out first article and final inspections against drawings.You’ll probably have more than two years’ experience of working as a Quality Inspector but if you have the skills already in less time, then we'll welcome your application too.As an experienced Quality Inspector you’ll know this already but to be clear, you’ll be confident in using a range of precision inspection tools to check dimensions of CNC machined components to include gauges, micrometers, vernier calipers, microscopes, shadowgraphs, CMM and similar equipment. It would be great if you have experience of programming a CMM too but this sisn't essential because we have people in the team who can help.You'll also know that paperwork comes with this job too, which I'm sure you'll be very happy to hear.
