Project Administrator

We have a really nice opportunity for a longstanding client of ours, located between Cheltenham and Tewkesbury, who are looking for a Project Administrator to join their team. Ideally, they are looking for someone with a background in construction, or a similar industry such as fire or security protection, or even electrical installation.

The Project Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Delivering excellent customer service at all times, sometimes with customers who are experiencing difficulties that our client resolves, so at times under stress!
  • Onboarding all new projects, with administrative support in getting everything on to the system and workflows mapped out
  • Organising the schedules of engineers who travel out to sites around the country
  • Raising invoices

We are looking for a Purchasing Administrator with:

  • A strong administrative background; demonstrable experience in a similar role of at least 2 years
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to defuse difficult customers
  • An understanding of, or interest in project management, as this role is a vital link between the customer service and project management teams
  • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A hard working attitude, with confidence in their abilities and the ability to share skills with team achievement at the forefront

This is a full-time, permanent role, with office hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday-Friday. Our client is offering a salary of £30-35,000pa, plus benefits including 25 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays and an annual bonus scheme.
