Job Title: FRA Fire Stopper
Location: Tewkesbury, GL20 (Travelling within an hour of GL20)
Pay: 22 - 23 Per Hour
Our client is a leading specialist in fire safety solutions dedicated to improving social housing standards. Their mission is to ensure that every property we work on meets the highest safety standards. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced FRA Joiner/Fire Stopper to join their dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As an FRA Joiner/Fire Stopper, you will be responsible for performing essential fire stopping and fire door remedials across social housing properties. You will bring your strong fire safety background to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with current regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain fire stopping systems and fire doors in accordance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Conduct thorough assessments of fire safety measures and implement necessary remedial actions.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, on time, and to a high quality standard.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide updates and address any issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in fire stopping and fire door remedials, specifically within social housing.
- Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and best practices.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in fire safety and joinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- A full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
