12 Month Fixed Term Contract

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for driven commercially aware individual to take up a new challenge in procurement and develop into a confident purchasing professional.

Working in the Indirect procurement team, you will develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and manage the coordination and placement of purchase orders for indirect materials and services.

You’ll join a great team in their purpose-built modern facility in Tewkesbury and can learn and progress your career.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal customers
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Placement of purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Establish needs for indirect purchases and services.
  • Get involved and manage indirect lean activity.
  • Work closely with Senior Buyer to resolve operational issues.
  • Involvement in mini projects alongside regular duties

 

Experience:

  • Good negotiation and commercial awareness.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to pick up new tasks quickly.
  • Willingness to learn and progress.

 

Candidates who currently Office Administrators, Purchasing Assistants, Junior Buyers, Buyers, Assistant Buyers, Purchasing Administrators, Purchasing Admins and similar would be suitable for this post.
