Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely notification of arrivals
- Inspect and check goods for damage or defects
- Organise and store products in designated areas
- Prepare products for shipment, including packaging and labelling
- Conduct physical inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, bendi), safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Operative or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Valid counterbalance, Reachor Bendi licence and experience operating forklift equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling products
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work on feet for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Additional warehouse certifications, such as reach truck or bendi licence
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting
- Manufacturing industry experience
Technologies:
- Forklift equipment (counterbalance, reach truck, bendi)
- Inventory management systems
- Basic computer skills (MS Office)
