Responsibilities:

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely notification of arrivals
  • Inspect and check goods for damage or defects
  • Organise and store products in designated areas
  • Prepare products for shipment, including packaging and labelling
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, bendi), safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Operative or similar role in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid counterbalance, Reachor Bendi licence and experience operating forklift equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling products
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work on feet for extended periods
  • Basic computer literacy

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Additional warehouse certifications, such as reach truck or bendi licence
  • Experience with inventory management systems
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting
  • Manufacturing industry experience

Technologies:

  • Forklift equipment (counterbalance, reach truck, bendi)
  • Inventory management systems
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office)
